Payments
When paid participation becomes available, payments may be processed through Shopify and its payment providers.

Experiment Submissions
If Experiment 001 opens, participants may voluntarily submit artwork, writing, photographs, links, QR codes, names, or other content for potential inclusion in the finished project.
Do not include private or sensitive personal information that you do not want made public.
Experiment 001 is intended to result in a publicly distributed physical and/or digital book. Personal information intentionally included within an accepted page may therefore become public.
Once a book has been printed, sold, distributed, or otherwise released, information contained in those copies may not be possible to remove.
Separate participation terms and content rules will be provided before paid participation and final submissions begin.
Age Requirement
Experiment 001 is intended for participants 18 years of age or older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. A parent or legal guardian may choose to create or submit content inspired by or on behalf of a minor, but the adult remains responsible for the account, payment, participation, and submission.
Service Providers
We may use third-party service providers, including Shopify, to operate our website, process transactions, manage communications, and provide other services.
These providers may process information as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are subject to their own privacy practices.
We do not sell your personal information.

TERMS & PROJECT POLICIES

The Secret Entrance creates experimental projects designed to turn unusual ideas into real experiences.
Experiment 001 is currently in an interest-gathering stage.
Experiment 001 — Current Stage
Submitting your email address indicates that you are interested in potentially participating in Experiment 001.
At this stage:
- Signing up is free.
- You are not purchasing a page.
- You are not committing to participate.
- Signing up does not guarantee a page.
- No payment is required.
The current signup exists to help determine whether enough people are interested in making Experiment 001 happen.
People who sign up may receive early notice or first access if Experiment 001 opens for paid participation.
If Experiment 001 Launches
The current concept for Experiment 001 involves 300 participants, with paid participation expected to cost $20 per page.
Before anyone is asked to pay or submit final content, complete participation terms will be provided.
Those terms are expected to address matters including:
- Participation eligibility
- Pricing and payment
- Random page assignment
- Submission requirements and deadlines
- Content standards and prohibited material
- Rejection or removal of inappropriate or unlawful submissions
- Intellectual property and permission to reproduce submitted work
- Publication, sale, and distribution of the finished book
- Refunds and cancellations
- Missed submission deadlines
- What happens if the project does not reach the required number of participants
- Other rules necessary to produce and distribute the finished project
Participants will have an opportunity to review the applicable terms before purchasing a place in Experiment 001.

An adult parent or legal guardian may choose to create or submit content inspired by or on behalf of a minor, but the adult remains the participant of record and is responsible for the account, payment, participation, and submission.
No Guarantee of Launch
Experiment 001 is experimental by nature.
The current signup period is being used to determine whether sufficient interest exists to move forward. Signing up does not guarantee that Experiment 001 will launch or that a place will be available.
If the project moves forward, people who expressed interest may receive early notice or first access before participation is offered more broadly.
Changes
Because Experiment 001 is still being developed, its final structure, rules, timeline, price, or other details may change before paid participation opens.
Any final requirements will be presented before a participant is asked to make a purchase.
